The place is not too far from where I live. It is a bit of a hike walking about 2 miles and there are no side walks but it is a short ride by bike. Parking can be a challenge with not many places to lock my bike close by the office. But, my visits are very quick. I don’t have much of a reference in terms of service considering I only started seeing a dentist regularly this year. They are getting my teeth and gums healthy again and each visit hasn’t run me more than $100. Of course most of the cost is covered by insurance and chose this office because it is covered by my insurance - plus I don’t have to walk very far to get there. I was finally able to get my wisdom teeth removed as well as a cracked tooth that I injured more than 2 years ago.

I ordered a retainer in early Sept. I called about it in mid October. They had not ordered it yet. While I understand things happen...That was not what I heard. I was thanked for calling them back. (I was not calling them back, they had not called me) I told them this was not a call back. That I was wondering about the retainer (I'd paid for it in Sept.) That is when I found out they had not ordered the retainer. That it would take a couple weeks. I told them that my retainer broke last night. (So now I'll sit, without a retainer until the new one comes.) The said the upper retainer will be tight. (Since I no longer have one, again, I paid for them a month ago) I called back a few days later to see if they can direct mail. I live over an hour away now. I'd stayed loyal to them because I like Dr. Desatnik. But I'm going to look for a new dentist. I asked and they are going to direct mail the retainer. But even then, the gal on the phone gave me attitude, I can't believe this. I don't know what I will do going forward for new retainer, but there has to be someway to keep my teeth straight without returning to this dentist office. I'm just so upset.
